Concord Marine Electronics Design and Engineering

Concord Marine Electronics system designers will meet with the clients to get an understanding of their needs. Discussions about vessel usage, cruising grounds, safety, budget, simplicity, warranty, options, and system redundancy will help us build a proposal that will be a perfect match for the clients' needs.

Once the Concord Marine Electronics system design specialists understand the clients 'needs, a detailed proposal is generated. This proposal will specify proposed system equipment, broken down by area, with specific pricing. Concord Marine Electronics will also provide a “scope of work” document that will detail system functionality and integration in a more easily understandable format.

Once the decision has been made by the client to move forward with the project, the Concord Marine Electronics in-house AutoCAD department swings into action. Builder provided vessel AutoCAD drawings are modified to include detailed drawing of helm equipment placement, antenna placement, entertainment system placement, and all associated cabling. Collaboration between Concord, vessel builder, and interior designer take the guess work out of equipment placement and system installation. Each wire in the drawing is numbered for easy identification, and the level of detail in the Concord installation drawing allows for easy shipyard cable installation. The installation drawing go through a 3 part revision process the assures that your drawings have been reviewed by NMEA certified, and manufacturer trained, technicians, and the system will function 100% as designed.

The Concord Marine Electronics AutoCAD system drawing will also make future repair and modification work easier. The Concord tech making future modifications or system repairs will have a detailed system drawing available to help with locations of extra wires and splice points, greatly reducing the time spent “looking” for locations of below decks equipment and cables.

A Concord Marine Electronics system is custom designed for each client's special needs, but we help with the difficult decisions that make the difference. Manufacturer Warranty coverage, equipment reliability, and ease of use all factor greatly into what products are recommended for a system. Our experience with designing electronic systems for yachts since 1988 will make the difference for our clients.
