nVIEW Corporation ANNOUNCES MARKETING AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH NOBELTEC FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Newport News, VA, August 15, 2001 – nVIEW Corporation announced today that it has signed a Marketing and Development Agreement with Nobeltec. The agreement joins the strength of Nobeltec Navigation Software and Passport data with the integration capabilities of nView’s SiMON, Ships Information MONitoring system. Together they provide the solution for all SiMON customers to completely integrate the modern electronic bridge. 
SiMON is designed to monitor virtually any system, subsystem or data item on the vessel. It collects real time data from these systems, analyzes the data
for operational abnormalities and displays the data via the vessel’ s computer(s). It offers instant access to performance information of any monitored
system by mouse clicking on a tab located on any SiMON screen. The Captain may access this information at any display located at strategic locations
throughout the vessel or remotely via RF transmission from the Ethernet to a laptop or other mobile computer. |

Special features of SiMON include early warning of potential system problems with a sophisticated alarm system that first sends cautionary and later
critical alarms to a pop-up window, audible alarms from the computer speakers and audio/visual alarms throughout the vessel. It provides historical
data recording for tracking information for a specific passage and/or trend analysis for monitored systems performance. A special feature for recording
monitored systems performance parameters is “The Ship’s Recorder”, a “behind the scene” black box recording function that is constantly logging the
performance of all monitored systems. SiMON integrates all the vessel’s systems into one software package that runs on Windows 2000 or NT, so no
special software or processors are required. It is easy to use, easy to install and requires low maintenance.

Nobeltec produces real time navigation programs including the popular Visual Navigation Suite and its high-end Admiral program.
Together they are the world’s most widely used navigation software programs.
